Château de Beaucastel , a pillar of the appellation at the northern tip, produces this powerful and fine wine using the 13 traditional grape varieties of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, cultivated organically since the 1960s but not certified organic or biodynamic. The 2017 vintage, exceptionally dry, offers concentration and remarkable aging potential .

• Vinification & aging : manual harvest, separate fermentation in wooden and concrete vats, post-malolactic blending, aging for 12 months in oak barrels.

• Eye : Deep, bright purple-red.

• Nose : Blackcurrant, black cherry, garrigue, spices, licorice, cocoa, tobacco and slightly herbaceous notes

• Palate : Dense, ripe and silky tannins, long and harmonious finish – a distinguished and balanced Châteauneuf.
