At the crossroads of nature and creativity, “Red is not” (aka Red is Hot ) is a natural Merlot made from purchased grapes. Raised without additives and without compromise, it faithfully reflects the biodynamic spirit and the quality of the terroir.

• Grape variety : 100% Merlot, from a 25-year-old vine on the clay plateau of Massugas

• Alcohol content : 13.5% vol

🌱 Viticulture & Oenology:

• Viticulture : purchased grapes from a 25-year-old Merlot plot, organic and biodynamic farming, respect for the soil

• Vinification : harvest decided based on tasting the berries, gentle extraction by punching down at the heart of fermentation

• Malolactic : carried out in concrete vats

• Aging : 2 months in concrete vats, then bottled without sulfur, under inerting

• Production : 3,500 bottles, packaging reflecting the winemakers

• Eye : Dense, black-purple, vibrant and deep color

• Nose : Fresh and generous notes of ripe black fruits, infused with a light minerality

• Palate : Beautiful balance between structure and suppleness; fine tannins, velvety texture, juicy fruit and a fresh and precise finish
